Insurance and Fees

Counseling Fees:

Payment is due at the time of service unless other financial arrangements have been made in advance. Our fees are comparable with other psychological practices and agencies in the Fort Wayne area. We do accept Visa and Mastercard.

Our policy regarding Insurance:

Our loyalty is to you, not to a third party. We have a total commitment to your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information.

We put the interest and care of you, the client, first.

In this day of managed health care, most of us are given an approved list of “providers.” You do have a choice. You can pick from an anonymous list of names, or you can put you and you family in the care of a psychologist who stays in practice based totally upon reputation and referrals over many years in the community.

• We ARE NOT a high volume managed care insurance panel practice!
• We DO NOT get our clients from health insurance companies.
• We DO NOT have a conflict of interest that an “in network” provider must deal with on a daily basis.
• Our clients come from professional referrals of pediatricians, family physicians, psychiatrists, community leaders, and most importantly from our satisfied families.

Even though we are “out of network” for some companies, many of our clients do use their insurance to see us. Insurance companies will try to convince you to stay “in network.” This is motivated by the desire to save the insurance company money and feeding their panel of “approved” providers. If you wish to file an insurance claim, we can provide the information necessary for your reimbursement. Many insurance plans pay a significant portion for non-network providers, even though they do not publicize this information. Check with us, and we can guide you regarding this procedure.

Consulting Fees:

Our coaching and consulting services are generally provided on a per project basis. We customize these services specifically for each client, therefore, fees are set accordingly. Usually, for a typical coaching scenario, the client pays 50% at the beginning, and the remainder approximately half-way through the program.

If you prefer to “pay as you go,” the fee would be based on an hourly rate. Our consulting rate is very reasonable. We provide a specialized service, which is unlike any other in the area, and we keep our rates affordable to all of our clients.
